I am considering a new table in this part of the kitchen and looking for suggestions. I would like something with extensions (that can be stored without n the table)for family dinners, dinner parties, etc. this table was originally in a formal dining room but since downsizing, I no longer have one. Looking for something a little more casual and maybe not as wide. I was considering painting this table to make it look less formal but the top is pretty damaged so I do not know that it would be worth doing, let alone if it would look right.
