Very beautiful forerunners of what will no doubt be a wonderful display. Molineux by itself will be fantastic.

GLORIOUS! The spring is springing in Southern California, as well . . . The roses are cooperating ... the plumeria hasn't yet awkened.

    Lovely, lovely photos!

Every time I see Amazing Grace, I know I live in the wrong zone.

Why isn't Pretty Jessica rated any higher than 'good' on HMF? It says very hardy, vigorous, very disease resistant. Plus, she's beautiful. Sounds like everything we look for.

These roses are beautifully photographed, thanks for posting. The fragrance must be wonderful.

The Hybrid Teas look nice with the Austins.

where did you get you Belle Story? I’ve been looking for one fo a while now. Also Chandos Beauty.

I love all of them but must admit to being partial to PrettyJessica. That is one gorgeous rose!

Beautiful pictures. Does Chandos Beauty smell as good as they say? What sort of scent does it have?

BenT - Chandos Beauty is the most fragrant roses in my garden and I have lots of fragrant ones. It smells like a rose should and like I remember my grandmothers roses smelled.

SoFL Rose - I have had Belle Story for many many years and when it started to decline, I had it put on Fortuniana by a friend of mine.

I got Chandos Beauty from Hortico a few years ago.

It is spectacular and it has gorgeous leaves.

Wow! So beautiful! I can’t wait for rose season to come here. Molineaux looks ready to explode! Pretty Jessica is so beautiful. I’m super excited as I got one in a trade last year. It’s still really small, but just sent out a new basil. Hopefully she will look as pretty as your someday!

flowersaremusic, as far as I understand it Pretty Jessica is perfect in all areas except that she is an excruciatingly slow grower. Several of the smaller nurseries have stopped producing her for that reason. She just took to long to get to salable size. I tried to buy one several years ago, and couldn’t find any. That’s why I was so excited to get one in a trade!

Thank you for that info, Dillybean. Knowing that will help if I do find one. I won't put unfair expectations on her. From the pics I've seen, she's worth the wait.
