As for White Dove being creamy, it is not. As for being off-white, it is, as it is a OC white. The undertone is greige and it does not do well with North light.

If quartzite is in the budget I’d absolutely do it over quartz. The quartzes that attempt to replicate marble look just enough off to me that I don’t like them, and I tend to think they’ll look dated a lot faster than natural stone.

I vote Sea Pearl quartzite (I am actually having it installed, even though it was over my budget). How often will you be redoing your counters? It is a solid investment to make a quality/enduring choice for this large of a design surface in a room you spend so much time in...and so much time admiring. That being said, get what makes you smile every time you see it, which is a lot!! Best wishes!!

Thanks everyone! The quartzite is beautiful but ultimately I decided against it because I really wanted a lighter top and not sure how long we'll be in this house. So in a surprise twist, I think I'm actually going to go with a honed carrara quartz. I'm a little nervous after reading reviews of honed quartz (mostly darker colors), but I did a stain test today and everything came out. Fingers crossed!
