How about starting at one room at a time? Do you have any photos/floor plans to share?

Good advice, thank you. Even though we are well along in the process there are still important selections to make, like just today we finally selected bathroom floor tiles. Type of wood floor, stain shade? subway tile kitchen backsplash selection, cabinet pulls and wall colors are the current choices still needing to be made. Since we are building not remodeling our contractor says you have $this much for an allowance, let me know asap which carpet or wide plank wood floor or ??? you want. Delays will delay the work. While we are attempting to achieve a sophisticated yet authentic white cottage look - because we are building this one to sell -we are trying to retain a neutral palette, we are also trying hard to steer clear of the sterile hospital look. It is a fine line.
