We have a tri-level built in 1979 and we're trying to update inexpensively for now. We have old off-white carpet that we hope to replace with hardwood. Our bedroom has high, sloped ceilings, is open to the sink and closet area, and also has sliding glass doors to a deck on the other side of the room. We have white cotton/linen curtains on the doors. There is also a stained glass window high above our bed, with mid-blue flowers and some rose-colored. It's okay, not great. The bathroom area was repainted a light creamy white, white tile counter and floor must remain for now. HELP. The bedroom desperately needs to be repainted. Color? Ceiling the same color? We have blue accents, and my original thought is a light grey-blue- perhaps one wall a different color?
