Hello kbrito, thanks for your question! The countertop material is a marble called Arabescato Orobico Grigio. It scratches and etches pretty easily, so it's fine for a bar or somewhere that does not get daily frequent use, but I would not recommend it for a kitchen or a bath you use often.
