I have a cherry tree that has had some oozing damage last year. It's like the ball had split open and it began to ooze sap. When I was pruning my fruit trees I noticed exposed wood and now fungus. I have a peach tree doing a similar thing. I've been told to use everything from pruning spray, to wrap it, to apply latex paint to the wound. Any adivce? It's generally a real good producer for it's size in my opinion. Thank you in advance!
