Our pool equipment is set below pool grade... pebble sheen was applied, 2nd day acid wash workers told us (homeowners) that sump pump wasn't removing acid runoff... turns out all initial runoff was entering pool equipment. My husband shut off all valves, then opened drain on filtration system and acid/water actually bubbled on the cement slab. Pool company was notified and did not flush system till following day. Has our equipment been compromised? Again, the acid washout went through our system first, then the sump pump. thanks.
