The Coffee Bean is really dark... have you considered options other than those two colors?

gunstock floor is my choice. Put up one shade lighter than java on cherry. If you are wanting that dark stain....may as well put it on oak....you'll get texture w the bit more grain showing....probably come in a little less pricey than cherry. Why pick cherry and then cover all the beauty?

I would look at something like this...

Dark-on-dark kitchens are OUT as a trend. Even with the white counters, this is going to be a dark space. With a strong white counter, you want floors that are as light as possible. The gunstock is pretty - if you MUST have a stain.

As already stated, cherry wood cabinets are an upgrade...but the upgrade is lost when working with a stain that is so dark it might as well be paint.

If you want dark floors (it has been a dream of yours) then go lighter on the cabinets. If you want dark cabinets then go lighter on the floors. And dark floors are a NIGHTMARE to keep looking good/clean. Every speck of dust shows. Why? Because 90% of household dust is 'human dander' (skin cells). And that means it is a 'light gray' in colour. Light gray dust shows up BEAUTIFULLY on DARK floors.

Just a little FYI...I would go light on the floors if you absolutely must have dark kitchen cabinets.

Also we have the option for Gray (upgrade) or White kitchen Cabinets with Coffee bean floor /Bayfront(upgrade) maple floor.

We want the room space to be airy and open,not too dark.

Please share your advice, which one's to go for.

Sam , those new colors look much better in my opinion. Most of our clients are opting for very light to even heavy whitewash floors now.

If you want it to be airy & open then you have to let go of the dark options. I would either go with the cherry & a lighter stain or white. Also you need to go light with your floors. I'm not a fan of any of these combos, but you are getting closer... I'm not liking the quartz choice. In my area that screams builder grade quartz. A LOT of houses have that same quartz & I feel that that look is already dated. Do they have any other light quartz options? Have you looked at pictures of kitchens? What style do you like? You mentioned airy & open. To me that means lighter colors, nothing too heavy.

That will be a very dark kitchen. I would go light with the floor if you want those cabinets. The gun stock doesn't go at all with those cabinets, in my opinion. If you want that super dark kitchen, I'd consider white terrazzo floors.
