Sometimes I find last year’s plants blooming during midwinter thaws. If you let them go to seed last season, you will never be without them again IME. They are short lived biennials in my garden so depending on whether any new seedlings wintered over will influence how early they are. My MIL gave me some many years and one house ago and they come up in various garden beds including the veggies, transferred via seeds in compost or in soil on tools or boots. Easy to remove where not wanted.
