It is also not recommended if you have pets or kids running around the lawn. it is preferrable to use liquid broadleaf lawn weed herbicides - you can spot spray directly or broadcast spray if the issue is widespread. Once dry, it will not leach in to steams or waterways and will not have any adverse effect on small kids or pets (who are overly vulnerable to these products).
