There's the radiator (glad you couldn't see it - that's what I was going for in painting it the same color as the walls). That's what I was thinking but hubs wants drapes. Le sigh.

No, I don't think it'll work. How far does it jut out into the room? I'm thinking far enough so that the curtain will also be hanging over and out. Won't look good.

You could probably hang one panel on each window (the inner part) and tie them back. That would probably be the only way it would work in order to look nice. My 2cents. : )

Side drapes or valances. Neither is a bad look. Just breathe and say, "Wonderful new paradigm!" Radiant heat is one of the most healthy and efficient types of home heating.

If you are craving fabric, a fabric covered cornice would work. If still need more fabric, one tied back panel for each window, in a minimal length to window sills and not hung wide.
