I hope everything will be okay for you. I’m here in Washington state. Went out today and planted hydrangeas, Gerber daisies and geraniums. Picked up the mess, turned off the hose and the skies opened up with hard rain and hail. Things look a little flat but hopefully they’ll come back. Liked your picture looks like a garden center. Well that was a big nothing. Basically just a mild wind and a bit of rain......

Looks like the south got hit hard though.

Jeff, glad you guys are ok! We pulled In the driveway Sunday morning to the sirens going off here in GA, but nothing touched down in my neck of the woods. All of the new leaves on my trees have a few new curves to them and had to right several, but no damage. I heard Texas was hit pretty hard.

Yes, I am glad you are ok too. I'll bet you are cursing the false report and for making them move your trees inside. Happens here all the time. Frustrating especially when it comes to frost warnings.

Jeff, we only had a watch around here. Nothing happened thank God. What really did a number on my trees was the terrible wind recently. It literally yanked out my huge ST out of the mix...awful. I managed to get it straightened out quickly and am weighing it down with some big stones to get it set. Several others really suffered also. I have two bags of reptibark ready to go and may make more mix tomorrow to repot the ones that are most in need. I am stalking the reptibark on Amazon when it goes on sale.

You and me both Laura. I had just planted a bunch of vegetables only a few days before and they all collapsed after the fierce wind. Fortunately I could stake most of them up and they seem to be doing ok now.

Yup, had the same warning here. But my neck and back were fried and my husband was on travel. So i put both trees right in the dead corner of my deck, huddled by the door and the wall, dragged the table and chairs of front of them and tied the chairs up, and prayed for the best.

The day of the warning wasn't bad at all. The couple days after that, however, the winds were a b@tch. Lost a few leaves, a few tiny lemons. All in all, it went really better than expected.

Thank God for small favors.
