detergent scent/dust sensitivity

hi all

can someone recommend a good powder detergent that does not cause sneezing fits; unless you have a mask on when handling

or the other way which ones do for you?

Years ago, I used Charlie's Soap and was always amazed at how fragrance-free it was. What do you think is triggering your sneezing? Do you have the same issue with liquid detergents?

All free and clear powder is a good one.

I do not hold my head over the box when measuring out powders. I've even had mild reactions from some liquids (out-gassing of chemicals) when my head is right over them! Best I can suggest is keep it all at arm's length and reduce the amount of powder shifting around to prevent "fallout" clouds that can get up into your nose. HTH

Our homes are filled with toxic cleaning agents and other products that we may apply to our body. And, as women, we are more likely to suffer from lung issues, allergies and skin irritation because we are the ones that come in direct contact with these toxins the most. I would suggest using chemical free products. I'm a member of an online shopping wellness club that sells chemical free products only. Customers also earn free products and loyalty dollars monthly just for shopping with them and their retail partners. And best of all, you gain improved health, and you don't have to worry about your children being harmed by chemicals, as the products are biodegradable and doesn't require child-proof caps. It's a win win. You shouldn't have to cough up a lung or have other irritations to clean your home. If you want, you can email me at Chaquita_Johnson@yahoo.com. I can send you a link to their website so you can get more info and browse the product lines. Using chemical free cleaning products will definitely increase your quality of living.

CJ-Ellis, the world is made of "chemicals". Any matter whether solid, gas or liquid, is made of chemicals. It's misleading to think all "chemicals" are bad for us. Furthermore, there is no such thing as "chemical-free" cleaning products. Your post sounds like spam.

    "What Is Not a Chemical?

If anything made of matter is made up of chemicals, then only phenomena that aren't made of matter are not chemicals. Energy is not a chemical. Light, heat, and sound are not chemicals — nor are thoughts, dreams, gravity, or magnetism."
