Some cat is urinating in an area of my daylilies, spreading the mulch over the top of them. We have one but I've not seen him do it, though it might be.

I've heard cats hate citrus smell from many sources. A few sources say they don't like pepper. I got a lemon-pepper spice cheaply and spread it around the bed this morning. About the time I was done our cat came over, sniffed around and loved it and laid down in it purposefully. He does know "no" so I got him to leave. He's only 1 year old and a bit unusual. I hope the neighbor's cat reacts differently if it has been him.
