Well done, Dig Doug's Designs. If nothing else, I recommend spraying for weeds,, mowing, and edging. I love azaleas, so I'd also recommend Encore azaleas along the fence line. Buy smaller plants at big box retailers like Home Depot -- and pay attention to mature height/width.

Does your home have a sidewalk? That seems to be the biggest thing missing. I would focus on that and be sure to have your home power-washed to clean away any mildew on the siding, gutters or decks. Then focus on painting. A soft yellow would go well with the green roofing. You should not put too much money into building flower beds since the new owners may not be Hands-On Gardner and they see that as a problem to tear it down and clean away anything you have put in. Appraisers usually focus just on the structure itself and any drainage issues of standing water around it. Good luck.

It's relatively cheap and easy to make a yard look cared for. As a diy it's more an investment of time than money. (Not sure if you'll be taking on this project yourself, but I have two little ones and like to use the "yarden" as an excuse to take a break from child care on the weekends) Clean the exterior, mow, edge, and mulch, and the place will look transformed!

Based on your pictures, I'd personally focus on getting the entrance, mailbox, and group of trees by the road mulched for garden beds first. So basically the areas you mentioned. :)

As far as door color, that is a tough one... your choices are a bit limited with the roof. Green to match? (A truly groundbreaking idea, no need to thank me, haha.)
