What is a rootmaker pot? I’m open to whatever is the best option, just don’t wanna get root rot again.

What are the advantages/cons to clay pots? They are really cheap

Zone 4b. There is no advantage to a clay pot but many disadvantages. Pots are too cold from moisture evaporative loss most of the year
