My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Prestige engineered hardwoods by bpi

Has anyone installed Prestige Mountain Harbor hickory engineered hardwood.
I brought home a sample I love but I'm not familiar with the company and can't find much info. It is beautiful with a 25 yr warranty
We were given a great quote at $8.99/sq ft installed .
Wonder if "you get what u pay for"?

    I recently had a BPI floor installed. The floor is a good quality with a nice feel. However, don't go by their sample or the photos on their site...it is completely misrepresented. The representations show only a few knots or other variations, but the actual floors are called character grade and that allows them to install floors with MANY, MANY knots and variations. BE CAREFUL because they will not refund you if the appearance of your floor is different than what they represented in their samples or on their website. YOU MUST ASK FOR ACTUAL PHOTOS OF AN INSTALLED FLOOR IN THE FLOOR OF YOUR CHOICE in order to get a true idea of what your choice will look like in your home.
