Hi- More pictures of the rest of the room would be good. Maybe a slender table along the wall with simple decorations like candlesticks or those orchids? This is also a good place for a wall hanging or beautiful rug hung as art. If you do a wall hanging you might skip a table. It would be too crowded. I would favor the rug on the wall and then you can scootch the couch back a bit and get more room in front of it.

There do not seem to be any lamps near the sofa. A very narrow sofa table with lamps would give you function and fashion.

This layout is much better than shoving the couch against the wall - particularly with the door there. In my opinion, you could either do a narrow console table behind the couch or on the wall - it depends on how wide the space is and a rug of some sort would be a nice touch.

Yes, it isn’t that wide of a space so it would need to be something narrow and put it behind the couch. Then the couch will be supported rather than floating in the room I suppose. Our couch used to be on the wall to the left where the frames are. Now I need to find a great piece that kind of matches the rest of our furniture & fits on the area rug!

Move the couch a bit back two legs off the rug and hang a picture. DONE.
