This should give you an idea of what it might look like to just enlarge the windows. I don't have a special program, just Paint.

I would start by pulling the blinds up all the way so you have a clear view of the yard today. (looks like they are tilted open but not drawn up). You probably know this, but moving your fireplace is going to cost a lot. I'm not really clear on where it would move to.
