I’ll start by saying I hate fluffing, fussing over, and having to rearrange sofa cushions. I’d prefer my kids not throw cushions all over the house. We currently have a tight back room and board sofa with chaise that we adore (the Ian).

We are moving and this sofa will go into the garden level media room and I need a new sofa for the living room. I’m not wed to a sectional or chaise again (although we love it) but my question really lies in the cushions: does anyone know of any sofa manufacturers that offer a cushion back (loose back) with anchors to keep the cushions in place? I like the no-fuss tight back, but at times I yearn for something a little more cosy and less hard-lined. A friend has a sofa that has metal hooks for her back and seat cushions which I think is genius. She says she got the sofa on 1st dibs and it’s origin is unknown (isn’t that alway the case). I need something longer than what the Ian from R&B offers
