Don't The differential in size is in the wrong direction. If you do graft I would suggest chip budding.

I have a tiny bit of grafting experience, all my whip and tongue grafts took last, my first year, we shall see later for this years grafts. I'm assuming you have the materials at hand and need to get the job done now.

I think I would make the slice to match up the two surfaces, and then make another cut in the larger, so that the diameters match. Then make sure that the mating occurs at the cambium layer and not the edge of the scions. Good luck!
