My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
Haven't seen either of you posting in a while so I am just hoping that all is well. It'd be a shame if the vegetable forum here at GardenWeb lost the two of you.
Just getting old and slow but still kickin. Cut way back but still have several trial varieties this year. Two that have performed well and have been harvested.
Good to see you farmerdill! Your produce looks great!
I considered ordering some Green Forest romaine this year but it fell out of my Johnny's cart when I remembered that I still had a full packet of Ridgeline romaine. I have 6 Ridgeline doing well now and just starting to head up. My Dragoon mini romaine are ready to harvest this weekend and the Breen aren't far behind.
It is an Afila type, stiff vine heavy tendrils. I grow double row and this type holds well without additional support. Good yield, good taste. Productivity is comparable Pls 525, Survivor, easy Peasy. All this type are best for once over harvest. Small pods. I rate it fourth compared to the above varieties. Many regular vine peas will give a longer harvest. My favorite over the years Green Arrow. If I could not grow but one variety that would be it, BUT I like variety. Most of the varieties I have trialed over the years can be found in Plantfiles.
