When your seed germinates, note if there are multiple embryos that sprout. If so, then perhaps one will be zygotic (off type) and the rest clones.

I started some Shiranui seeds and all had multiple embryos suggesting at least a high nucellar % and therefore a good chance that I would have a clone of Shiranui. I'm not sure I have the patience to grow these up, but it's interesting anyway!

Four Winds Nursery sells Gold Nugget. They're out of them right now, but should start up again as their inventory grows up. Check back with them periodically.

Yeah FGT had some too, i thought about getting one. But I do like a challenge, and seeing that seed-grown tree flower for the first time is a rewarding feeling. I will update this thread later with results.

I have a Navel I’m growing from seed but no clones so likely not a clone. But I‘m enjoying it’s growth :) Definitely watch out for multiple sprouts, it’s a good sign of a parental clone present. How long did your seed grown lemon and lime take before fruiting?

About 4 years for the key lime and about 6 for the lemon I would say.
