Hi everyone. I need some help with identifying some oak trees near our house. In the picture below, the leaf on the right is a shumard oak that is in my yard. The one on the left is an oak down the road that I’d like to ID. Are they both Shumards? There’s a good bit of variation, but I just don’t know enough about trees to tell. The one on the left produces somewhat bigger acorns than my Shumard.
