Need help selecting new mirrors for DIY bathroom renovation

Hello everyone! My husband and I have been refreshing our master bath with new tile, shower and a new vanity. I saw an image of a vanity with nickel faucets and black framed mirrors but now can't find that image. Is it ok to mix metals or should I stay with brushed nickel mirrors. If we select black framed mirrors, should we then install black hardware pulls on the vanity? We still have a lot of finish and trim work to complete. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

      I think that black mirror will look really nice. I would go with black pulls for vanity.

      Have you thought of an oil bronze or darkish gold for pulls/knobs and mirror. The reason I say this is that nickel is a warmish metal and so is the bronze and gold. Black would be ok with the rustic floor color, but the bronze might really pull out some tones. I love the bluish wall and I think it would look very nice with bronze.

      Great suggestion Endearing! The vanity originally came with dark bronze pulls and I really like the contrast against the wood.

      Hi all! My husband didn't like the idea of mixing metals so we ended up with brushed nickel mirrors. The look isn't very dramatic but it is growing on me. I'm now stumped on a rug that will work in this space. I feel like I need some color to warm up the room but the bathroom is open to the bedroom and I'm trying to tie in colors with our bedding. I've bought two rugs so far but I'm not thrilled with either. Is the size of the larger rug better? Any help is greatly appreciated!

      Your bathroom looks very nice! Now, please change the outlet between the mirrors to a GFCI so you'll be safe.

      Thank you! I was told it is a GFCI outlet...how do I tell for sure?

      Maybe the circuit breaker is a GFCI, but the outlet is not. GFCI outlets have test and reset buttons between the receptacles. Please double check with your electrician, you need to be properly protected (maybe you are).

      Yes! Thank you for reminding me that it is on same circuit as other outlet that is GFCI. I was told that this was safe since they are linked.

      I think you need a solid colored rug, as your bath already has a ton of patterns of flooring, vanity wood, vanity counters, et al. The patterned rugs are just looking like noise. Look for a blue or green rug that you could coordinate with towels and all the rest...

      I've been looking at the below rug in white. I assume this rug still has too much pattern in it?

      This is an older white bathmats I have just too what plain white looks like. Right now all of my towels are white.
