I think yellow shutters would brighten it up, or you could go darker with a navy feel. I would shy away from black or white as they are too extreme with the light blue.

thanks so much! what do you think about the foundation and steps, doors? There are two doors and steps all painted ELECTRIC BLUE... shrubbery etc wil hide much of foundation...husband landscaper, but not sure about steps, door...appreciate your time on this!!!

maybe white would be a good color just for the steps and doors... you could also add a pop of color by painting the doors the same color as the shutters (yellow or navy?) and keep the steps white.

Pait the shutters the same color as the house, in semi-gloss. Paint the back door with the same semi-gloss. I think the foundation should be painted foundation color...a concrete shade. Same with the front steps. Then I would paint the front door, in high-gloss, black or deep purple.

Hi....How many windows have shutters??? Maybe another picture would help.

I just painted my kitchen aqua with red and black accents. So I'm thinking some shade of red. Or black. Will make the blue pop.
