‘Oakington Ruby’, as it looks in my (unheated, open) greenhouse today. This is almost certainly one of the late Victorian “Lilliputian” dwarf Chinas from that era, and a foundation plant that almost every modern miniature has in its pedigree.

This specimen is 6 feet tall and 7.5 feet wide. Miniature, yes...
