Yesterday, I accidentally mowed over a small muscadine vine. Last fall, I had pruned it to about 6 inches (it was about a year old), and it just started showing some spring growth about a week ago. The new growth was less than an inch long, though. Thankfully, there are still 2 to 3 inches of the vine left, but it's sort of split in half.

My guess is that the vine should grow back. Is that a reasonable assumption? Thanks for any info.
