Bathroom Dilemma

I'm making my selections for a main/kids bathroom remodel. I like an eclectic mix of modern clean lines with a mix of the old. I'm staying with white tub, toilet and sink (my husband's keeping me on a budget). I love Cambria Kelvingrove quartz for my vanity top and am basing my design from that. I'm going with brushed nickel fixtures. I'm second guessing my choices. The bathroom is an average sized main bath from the late 70s.

The first picture is my floor tile. The bottom has my cabinet, the Cambria quartz, the large striped tile on the bottom is my main tub surround tile (24" x 12"). I want a large format tile because I hate cleaning grout. The bluish green tile on the very bottom is what I'm considering for the niche tile and I'm considering putting 2 rows about a third of the way down from the ceiling with a pencil tile on either side. I know that this is usually done with mosaic or glass but I'm thinking this might be a nice touch and a little different. Mosaic seems to be a default. I'm wondering if I should just stick with a more neutral mosaic for the border? Also, does the floor tile have too much movement with the cambria and the tub surround?

I'm thinking of SW Sea Salt for the walls and SW Dover White for my trim. I'm also thinking of using a farmhouse style mirror in glazed Dover White.
