How do you protect the figs in winter?

They die back to the ground.

Steve, I protected mines with insulation, then leaves, the burlap, then plastic, and they still died. So much for growing anything like that in my aea. Lol

I can't even get enough sun for the summer for my citrus..It stinks! Never a ton of flowers and never a huge growth spurt. I am about to cast them all away.

    Nice job everyone.

Beautiful gardens you guys! Bob, I love the flowers too! I wish I had that much space. Bob, I send you a PM a while ago but I fear you never received it. Did you? I wanted to tell you that one of the persimmon grafts took for me. I am so happy! Has anyone had trouble receiving or sending PMs on Houzz?

I remember you mentioning that you would send me a picture later. Was just wondering about you, check the other website just to see if you are using it!!

Repot another tree a few days ago and is doing well, a little late, had to try it, shortened it a bit.

Btw, if you have problems loading pictures make sure you reduce your pixels a bit Houz does not allow too biggy mega pixels camera’s.

Aww, thanks, Mike! We are back and have our friend's dog staying with us for a bit. Today by the time we got two dogs fed and leashed, and put on our jackets and shoes, it started pouring rain! We are so not used to all this free water falling from the sky! The garden is loving it though!
