Hi- there’s a chain link femce separating my yard and my neighbors. All sorts of vigorous weeds and shrubs busy through the fence from their yard. I’m tired of sawing it down weekly.

Short of installing my own wood fence, is there anything I can do to stop the flow of their plants? Perhaps lamdscapw fabric over their fence? Is there any plant, like ivy, which would be vigouous to provide a dense cover? I only have a 6 inch deep swath of soil there.
