I would need a lot more info . I like single handle for ease of use but I also like contemporary design . Share a bit more and I am sure you will get many answers. The house price honestly has little to do with this.

Wide spread faucets are more elegant and would be more desirable.

In terms of ease of function, I have a single handle faucet in the kitchen because of the way one uses a kitchen sink.

However, when I was considering functionality in my recent remodel, I realized that using two handles to regular water temperature and flow was not an issue and I greatly preferred the look of the two handled widespread. Prior to my remodel, I had a single handle faucet and I don't regret the single handled functionality.

Given that there is no need for the kind of functionality a single hand affords in a bathroom versus in a kitchen, I opted for wide handle/two handles because I preferred the look. However, I can conceive of having an ultra-modern one handle faucet might be the more desirable look for some bathrooms.

The house price honestly has little to do with this.

Agree. You're looking for a style, not a brand or price range.

Best: Wall mounted faucet

Second-best: Single-hole faucet

Better: 8" widespread with no escutcheon plate
Average: 4" anything

Just imagine yourself cleaning the faucet ... ay attention, too, to how close your faucet will be to the wall. As you move down through these pix, you'll see that they become harder and harder to clean:

Your washcloth will just glide right under this wall mounted faucet:

A one-hole faucet still requires little cleaning:

Three items around which you must clean, but this 8" widespread set allows space for your hands /cleaning cloth ... but you must clean crud from the base of three items:

This 4" set will require that you "floss" between the three pieces.
