Possible hail tonight, should I cover my trees?

Posting this for the FIFTH TIME! The post keeps disapearing! WTF!

Weather is turning to crap later today/tonight. I know, shocker, right? Anyway, they warned for 20/30mph gusts, so I've brought the deck down again and tucked my trees in the wind safe corner of the deck again.

There's the potential for large hail later this afternoon/tonight. The possibility is slim but it exists. I was wondering if I should put the sun cloth over the trees to try and deflect the possible hail impact or if I just should just let them in their corner and hope for the best.

PS: don't tell me to bring the trees in, it's not happening. My back is fried and hubby is traveling.

Atheen, if they were mine I'd bring them in)) Be safe)) Can you rest some kind of plywood against them? Something to protect them? Push them all up against your home then lean a piece of plywood against them. That really stinks

Your area has been getting all the warmth and thunder while my area is always north of them fronts bringing me cool dry weather. Crazy.

Mike, no I don't have anything like that at home. And as as i said, there is no way in hell I can lift them to drag them back inside. I can barely bend my back right now. Dragging them back in the safe corner was the last stroke and I'm praying for it. It's bad. I've never had hail since I moved here 15 years ago. Hopefully we get through the next 24h without it.

Yeah, I saw that part after I posted lol.. What about pulling all the branches in together on each tree and tying it into a T P like shape with nylon or string. The hail should just slide down and not knock all your leaves off. It worked for my friend in Texas!!
