I’m moving to a new house and have a fence line where I want to try espalier fruit trees. Im thinking either Apple or pear or both. I hear That pear have less pests so I might go that direction.

Anyone have luck with organic fruit trees? i read that espalier pears are harder because the branches are more prone to breaking when bent.

recommendations for varieties that do well organically would be helpful.
