Another top for the to-be-quilted pile

I made this hunter star last year from a “shortcut sheet” by Carla Clopp. The pattern called for making a border from pieces cut off of the star blocks. I didn’t like it, so this morning I added these two borders.


I found the outer fabric in my stash, left over from a purse I made a couple of years ago. It has to be the same fabric line; the colors are identical. Ain’t stash great? LOL



The photo looks very gray, but it’s actually navy blue background print and a lovely sky blue.


Here it is with the original border.
