I see you have done such a good job on many. I was reminded of this when you said this. Thank you Bob. Love this time of the year. Temps here at night are finally stabilizing and staying into the 50's at night. What a HUGE difference in the growth of mine. I will be pruning next week.))

Good to know, although my new growth was earlier! I do have a couple of unruly citrus trees in the front that I need to shape a bit!

If you feel that you going to expect a light load of your tree’s than I would just spend more time training and shaping your tree’s, getting them ready for next year. Weak branches be the first ones to go, long branches need to be shortened etc. Don’t be chicken.

Bob, I cleaned up the lower branches, and I am trying to thin out the Meyer, as I can't even reach about the fruits and they are rotting on the tree! But darn, those thorns make it hard!

Use snips cut of all the thorns, they don’t have that many.
