We currently have (and like) hansgrohe shower stuff in the master bath, kohler for the master bath faucets which we've had for many years (though our giant plumbing supply place, for whatever reason, tends to steer us away from kohler faucets and towards other brands like delta/brizo, hansgrohe/axor, newport brass, etc.).

We are putting in a brizo faucet (odin) and hansgrohe shower stuff in the hall tub/shower except for the separate handheld which will be moen and the fixed head (speakman). We have a California Faucets single handle faucet in the basement bathroom that I like. Previously we had a delta faucet in the hall bath for many years that held up well.

You really can't go wrong as far as quality/price/warranty with a delta or moen faucet if you can find a style you like. The issue I always seem to run into is the brands whose styles I like almost always end up being more expensive than if I just liked a simple delta faucet.

I chose

• A Hansgrohe Talis S faucet (specifically the Talis S Select 80)
• Hansgrohe 27185001 Croma 220 showerpipe (with Hansgrohe 16181181 Basic Set)
• But I would have chosen the Hansgrohe 27112001 Raindance Showerpipe with the Basic Set if my shower had been wider.

acquabrass is literally the worst company I have ever dealt with as far as quality and customer service.

Agreed on both counts. We have gone through two shower heads within 6 years. The first defective shower head was replaced by the company. The replacement failed within two years. Both had failed in the identical fashion. Despite us sending a video of the leaking, spraying shower head, the company challenged whether it was a legitimate warranty claim. As a consumer, we expect the lifespan of a 12” ceiling mounted shower head to exceed a few years — especially at a price point of $755. Clearly the product is not quality. Best to stay clear of Aquabrass.

Me too Shower cartridge wore out in a year, bathtub filler hardware diverter and shower wand both broke, and the finish started peeling off before installation was complete and they wouldn’t pay to replace it. Truly junk. Interior decorator pushed it in us, it’s a fancy designer brand. Hugely expensive. Avoid it!

Agreed. Not great quality or customer service. The clear finish on our brushed nickle tall vessel bathroom faucet started peeling off! When I contacted the company they claimed it must be the cleaner I am using (which is a standard bathroom cleaner). I have brushed nickle Kohler faucets in another bathroom and no issues with the cleaner on them--just the Aquabrass. They sent another one without the clear coat (after much arguing about their warranty) and then that one started turning green and staining (like limescale or something). Will not buy from them again.
