Busy Being Fabulous is really bright, I hope it does get taller for you. I have almost given up trying to plant based on height, they often are shorter or taller. Stone Palace Rejoice is a really nice color.

Your Stone Palace lily has such pretty colors. My coneflowers never reseed. They come back from “mother” plant but not seeds. I think yours have done that before?

I still like the color on Stone Palace Rejoice......I grew Tammy Faye Eyes a few years back even though it was a UF. The blooms were striking. But those scapes were very weak and in need of staking when the blooms got to opening fully. Not something I like to do. The decision to keep her or not was made for me over that winter however. She died. I hope yours does better.......Maryl

Looks like several of us like Stone Palace Rejoice. Coneflowers are looking good. I think one of the plantings of coneflowers I did last year failed to come back. I got it at Lowes and think the name was something like Salsa. Cheyenne Spirits are back again this season but what color remains a mystery till bloom time.

Kate - This is the first time I've had coneflowers reseed. In the past, I've gotten new coreopsis the rudebeckia plants with self seedling. I left the seed heads on last season for the gold finches, and I didn't know it would result in so many new plants.

Julia - The Salsa coneflower did very well for me for three seasons. This year I was surprised with how vigorous and tall is was growing. Now it looks like Salsa died out and was replaced by reseeded varieties that look like purple conflowers but have white tips. The blooms on it are just starting to open. I'll post a photo of it when the clump is in bloom.

Nancy - I know what you mean about trying to plant according to height. It just hasn't worked out in my last few new beds.

Ooooh…..I LOVE Busy Being Fabulous! What a treat it must be to be greeted by that happy, bright face. It must really stand out in the garden. I had to look it up and now it's on my want list.

I read on the perennial forum the past few years that a lot of gardeners had very little success with the newer coneflower hybrids returning for more than two seasons. I quit trying here.

I really like Stone Palace Rejoice. A Little Night Music has my colors, And Busy Being Fabulous is such bright pretty colors, you have to notice it. Love the coneflowers reseeding, and that is a nice showing of the Coreopsis too!
