Darn hail! Another hit! I am glad it’s not at your home. I finally took some photos of the damage here from Memorial Day. What’s left of the plants have perked up, painful for me to look at.

Took a bullet? Looks more like a machine gun. Good thing hostas are tough and they will recover.

Too bad S. C. did not dodge the bullet too but hurrah that you just got rain at home. How is your garden at home coming along now with the tree removal done with?

I showed the picture to my DH... he said- “squash casserole with Swiss cheese on top.”

I wonder if it is better to give it some trimming or let it be? Sorry sight for sure.

Oh, your poor plant! We just had a very violent thunderstorm a half hour ago. I haven't been out to see if we got hail---the national weather service warning mentioned penny-sized hail. I didn't see or hear any hail against the windows, so I hope it didn't come here. I hope your plant can grow some new leaves so you can trim the damaged ones away.
