I have a couple of maples that the builder planted that were hit really hard by scale last year. Ive been treating them with all seasons horticultural oil at the end of last year and early this spring. Now I am trying to figure out if the new growth is showing signs of the scale persisting or if this is normal for new growth. If it is scale any idea on how to more effectively treat it?
