My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Are you Happy with your Honed Silestone Calcatta Gold Countertops?

We'd like to spend less but we saw honed Calcatta Gold and like it best. Pictures online make the veining look very dark. Is honed lighter and are you happy with it? Anyone have pictures of it in their kitchens to show? I'm painting my cabinets BM Decorator White (or something more creamy if it will look better and floor is brown LVP with hints of gray. I'm also considering MSI Ca;catta Vinceza and have thought about Cahmere Carrara. I have white appliances that I'm not changing right now. Maybe the Calcutta Gold offers the most interest next to all of the white? Help. I cannot decide what to do.

    @klabocki Thank you! I did do the island overhang thicker, it's 2 3/4". I think it gives it a more premium look. @Lilly B Loving my choice! They clean up so nicely it's amazing. Even liquids I think are going to stain, a little windex gets everything out. And they still look amazing. I check out the veins often and marvel at how natural they look with no heavy patterns. I have absolutely no regrets. If either of you try to search my name or the name of the silestone calacatta gold, I posted more photos in another thread.
