Yes, trailing lobelia, something like 'Lavender Waterfall' or' Lavender Pink'.

in fall .. take the whole plant .. since its an annual for most of us.. and shove it in a paper lunch bag .. and let it dry top open... i suspect you will find the seeds in the bag.. when it all dries out ... though i never tried such ...

I have collected seeds. I have often moved them indoors, and they continue to bloom throughout winter, just not as vigorously. Also, they self seed easily and the volunteers pick up steam as spring approaches if you let them grow wherever they are among your overwintering perennials.

Thanks everyone! And duh, yeah, it didn't even occur to me that the flowers would have tiny seedheads. I'll look for them! ;-)

Don't let them go to seed too much, though. They do better if you clip them over occasionally to keep them fresh and thick.
