I don't think those two pieces work well together. The styles are too incompatible and the teal perhaps a tad too saturated. I don't think I would go with a matching leather recliner, though. Maybe you could find something covered in fabric that is a little lighter in color. Too much brown leather in a living room makes it hard for other pieces to shine- it kinda suffocates the environment.

I wonder if you could find a teal fabric with some brown in it like this one https://www.burford.co.uk/home/furniture/mulberry-collection-arundel-armchair/ ? Or you could find a patterned pillow to help tie the brown and the teal together.

What you may want to do is use teal as a trim on a piece(s) and also in pillows on the sofa, Highlight the recliners with it, don't order them all in that color. Teal is vivid, and works best using it on gimp, welt trim, panels and the like. Now, you will have to use a maker that will do this for you, but many domestic ones can easily handle it. Just to show you what I mean, here's a chair I brought into my store for floor stock, yet I wanted to jazz it up a little. This is a Hancock and Moore Expedition Chair, and I used a brown suede in the side detail panel, then a specialty cross hatch hide on the inner back to create a unique look rather than doing the whole piece on a solid leather. A little detail in the trim work can go a long ways.

Here's another example of a leather chair that has a decorative insert ( you can use your imagination with teal, etc). This one even has a zipper on the side as a sort of "reveal". You can have a lot of fun with pieces like this and create a unique look without being too over-the-top.

What you want to do is find a recliner that doesn’t scream Archie Bunker.

Make that choice first and then look at a sofa.
