So glad it posted, you hot some nice ones in. I got Mean Green last fall. I don't think I have scapes yet, but i think I will. It will be a while though before money looks as good as yours. I always like Salty Skipper. Rambunctious Rosey looks beautiful, and the garden is gorgeous.

Mean green is my favorite today, it has that grab you color. Love your garden shots again. When do your lates start blooming?

Thank you, Nancy. Rosy is having a lesser year than last, but no wonder with the blooming and re-blooming he did. I know you will love Mean Green, It is a great one. I have Long Legged Lap Dancer in a four bloom clump at the end of the side bed. And Bob Marley is so bright, I love it. Phton Torpedo is one I wanted to move into the main beds, but it quickly loses its greenery and I could not find it last year It is marked now. I have a few more of Davisson's that are new this year, and I look forward to their maturing. Salty skipper had been doen to one fan and it suddely put out three new ones this spring. My lates should soon start blooming.

From the garden shots, it still looks pretty floriferous to me. My favorites are Carolina Sugar Daddy and Something Magic. Is Something Magic a new one. I don't remember seeing it before. The clumps are all looking lush and happy.

Didn't you say Wall of Fire held it's color until late in the day in the heat? For some reason I thought it would be red. Only a few reds have ever appealed to me, but I like the color of Wall of Fire in your picture. So in person is it red or deep pink?.........Maryl

Maryl - It's usually coral red for me.

Well, what is probably happening is that the earlies have a lot of reds and as they are through I don't notice the newer quieter colors that have started booming as much.. And yes, Something Magic is a new one and it has just started blooming. Nancy , that is what has happened to me. Davisson's do so well here even though they were bred to do well in northern climates, and I just really like so many of them now whereas I used to not like them at all. Maryl, Wall of Fire does really well but it is not a red it is a rosy pink, just like it looks on my monitor. The reds I have that hold their color the very best are not new or huge, they are Betty Ford (absolute best) and Hearts of Fire. Thank y'all for looking and commenting. And by the way, I think it was Sherry who asked, but I have found six already have put up re-bloom scapes...Citrix had three. Spoken in Parables, four, Keep on looking two (those three do this every year as does Marseilles Watercolor (two) Sweet Isabella (two so far) I have forgotten who the other one is. I figured with all the blooming this wouldn't happen this year....we will see.

Somehow I missed this post! Your Mean Green clump is so impressive! And Something Magic has a wonderful color. Garden still looks great! I think your Citrix usually reblooms, doesn’t it? Mine never does but it has only begun blooming

Citrix has already not only sent up re-bloom scapes, but the first one has joined in blooming. Thank you Ruth. I haven't forgotten you want another piece of Salty Skipper...If it every will settle in ad qit trying to die, you will get it. I may actully move Wall of Fire a bit...Someone removed half of it for me a couple years ago and it has never really recovered, probably because it is too crowed.
