backsplash help needed

Final stages of kitchen remodel. I had a few glass tiles I chose pre counter that I loved but they’re not really working with the counter so I’m desperately looking for ideas. I really love he look of clear glass but open to all suggestions. Not sold on any particular shape though I saw a few leaf type tiles that were cool looking but brown. Cabinets are white dove, paint color is mr kitty which changes from white to blue to green to grey depending on light. Counter is blue fountain quartzite which we may under light since it is semi translucent (electrician husband figuring this out). Breakfast bar top will either be butcher block walnut or concrete. I have a lot of blue glass that I collect which will be decor. Thank you!!!

I think the walnut would be a better choice. All your elements are very 'cool' looking , so the warm walnut would lend a bit of warmth.

If you choose the white glass, it will naturally give off a blue/green hue once installed. (you can't tell w/just one tile, but all together they look minty green once installed). So, if you want that look, choose the white.

I think you could do a soft, light blue. maybe even a frosted glass? Tilebar carries quite a few styles/colors, and you can order 5 samples for $5.

DiscountGlassTileStore also has a slew of glass tiles. shoot for a larger format, like 2x8 or 3x12.

I think this Skylight blue beveled glass is from them

your countertop is really nice. Are you using a nickel hardware?

as for your lighting, look for a 4000K bulb. anything higher will give off blue light, and anything at 3500 and under will give off a warmer light.

    some others.

    Tilebar Castle Windchill

TileBar Nabi Arctic Blue (this comes in larger sizes and diff shapes)

they have this new one called Harlequin in this arctic blue

    https://tilebar.com/nabi-harlequin-arctic-blue-ceramic-tile.html

these 3 are also tilebar (look over there and order those samples!)

top is Cadenza in nocturne blue, btm lt is Remmington Midnight Bricks, and right is 4x4 Montauk Sky

Encore Ceramics has this beautiful glass tile in a color called Mixed Rain. it's blues and greens shown here in the Chevron shape. (comes in all sorts of other tiles too)

They also carry this beautiful glaze called Bali. here it is in the 3x8 herringbone layout

    Dal Tile Jewels

    Palms Stratos

and this last one is a Zellige tile (hand made in Morocco) from Cle'Tile. It's their white which has slight blue hues to it.

BTW, here are 3 diff samples of walnut for your bar top. see how it warms up all of the cooler tones?

would be a similar look like these pics. everything in the kitchen are cool whites/grays. the wood helps to keep it from looking like icicles should be hanging.

be cool to do a live edge like this one:

We think a blue tile might work really well with your countertops. See the backsplash we used in this design of ours?

Thank you all for the amazing comments and ideas- I would love to respond individually but have been so crazy busy- my mother was in a severe car accident with 2 broken legs and bunch of broken ribs plus remodel plus raising 2 kids off school for summer!

I have been told my things clash a bit but we don’t plan on selling and it’s all so me so I’m sticking with my choices so far and very happy with it. We went with a tile from Arizona tile- dunes denim and it has a bit of sparkle in it. Blueish gray was the right choice! Hunny bought a cherry butcher block for counter and we are going to stain to tone down the red but still keep a bit of it to match floors and beam (not stained yet)

Decided on nickel hardware to match door handles and waiting on samples

Hung this pendant over the sink to add to my sparkly tile. The over bar pendants are frosted glass inside clear glass cylinders- don’t have a photo!

I am thinking of using the same tile with our carrara marble counter. I collect antique Flow blue china. Do you have a picture of your finished kitchen? I would love to see it!

We are also looking into Dunes Denim and would love to see a finsihed kitchen!

We ended up with the white tile in that same series. It looks gray on the wall .

@sookmomof4, thank you for posting your photo. We have a Mont Blanc slab that leans gray and are going to use Arizona Dunes Pearl (I think it's pearl) that looks gray when it is leaning against the wall. I was going to use the short stacked version, but after seeing your kitchen, which is beautiful, I think I'll go with the larger tile like you did.
