Because of the odd shape of your deck and lack of a straight wall on your house, I think you will have to float your couch in the middle of your deck. Space is going to be limited. If this was my space I'd nix the idea of a couch because of space and go for a small scale love seat and 2 chairs. In the nook next to your bay window, I'd fill it up with pots of flowers. This is going to be a tricky spot to figure out. Good luck! And say hi to Yogi for me...

I'll leave the patio design to the pros, but that looks like a good size bear! We get them in our neighborhood here in Southern CA, but I've yet to see one that size. Yes...stay safe!

The square area in the 'rectangle' is 8'5" square so I think there is room if I utilize the 19" in the bay window .

My first thought is to enlarge that too small deck , i lived for years with wildlife in my yard the bears always stole my brussel sprouts so i stopped growing them didn’t really help.

I would love to but the last owner added 4 foot to double it to 8' and it's not an option.
