Hmmm.....I'm still picturing #2 from last time around as I really liked that one. I think you didn't like that more dramatic pattern. Of these three I like #1 the best, assuming the different shades of blue (rug and chair) would look good together. I personally don't care for the one you purchased - too yellowy for me as I love blue and yellow/gold not too much.

3katz.. I know everyone liked that rug. That pattern is just too far out of my comfort zone!

I like the first one in this series!

The rug I returned was 9x12. I'm looking at rugs that are at least 10x14 and up. I'm also staying with polypropylene and around $500 or less.

Personally, since there is so much blue.. I would go with a contrast to that... maybe a more neutral color with a bit of blue in it or no blue at all. I am liking the direction you are heading with the last rug.

Which makes it surprising that you'd choose another with a big pattern. Maybe you're not as opposed as you think. You're obviously drawn to large patterns.

@catticus I guess I don't see rugs 1 & 2 as having a BOLD pattern. The popular rug from the 1st post had large multicolor circles. It was definitely bold!

FWIW, I did not care for #2 the last time, either. It was too much, and I believe would have overwhelmed the room.

I would order the first 3 you have above, and see which one floats your boat. :-)
