if the countertop is the only thing w/any pattern, you'll be fine. If your cream tile floor tiles have a visible pattern, then you may want to pick something else.

Yes, I think it is too busy for a bathroom counter. Great that it is a good color match, but I bet you can find something more subtle that looks great too.

We refreshed our kids bath on the cheap w/ something similar. The brown vanity warmed things up. The white tile matched the existing shower/tub.

I would try to find a creamier granite, though if you want a remnant your choices may be limited.

This is White Galaxy. There's no gold or brown in it. We used a cream floor tile.

For smaller size bathroom, go plain on permanent features. Then jazz up walls with art or color and towels.

Your granite choice will be fine in a small bathroom. Just be sure that the sink matches one of the lighter colors in the granite. You can add an accent color with towels and a washable rug. Aqua might be nice. And hang a small piece of framed art which picks up your accent color. Too much neutral cream can be boring.
