Placement/Locati of Gas & Electric Supply for Wolf 48" Duel Fuel Range

We are close to purchasing a Wolf Dual Fuel 48" range but I am having trouble interpreting the installation instructions (see attached picture). We presently have a gas range and the gas supply comes out of the floor but is pretty close to the wall (maybe an inch clearance) and sticks up approximately one foot (also see attached picture). Notwithstanding the horizontal placement, I am unsure if I have to move the supply to inside the wall, which I am not even sure is up to code, or whether I can merely cut the pipe down. In other words, I have no idea whether there is clearance behind the range to accommodate the existing supply.

Similarly, we will have to have a 240 electrical supply installed but, again, it looks like the location of that supply must be no more than 3 1/4" off the ground, which is definitely not up to code. How doe people deal with this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Before you buy, are you familiar with the problems with chipping of the blue enamel interiors of Wolf ovens? You can find quite a bit on the appliance board here and there are a couple of lawsuits over this.

I agree with wekick. I'd be hesitant to buy any Wolf ovens until I knew for absolutely certain that they had figured out this problem. The ongoing reports of failing ovens are disheartening.

On the other hand, there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with getting a Wolf rangetop and wallovens from a brand that isn't known for any blue chipping.

Or you could look at various all gas options that overall seem to do better in this regard. If you do, then take a closer look at Bluestar. Their burner are unequalled.

@Jason wright - I was curious if you ever found a solution to this? I am having similar problems with the location of the gas supply for the 48" all gas Wolf range.
